Once Upon A Second Chance by Davidson King

4.0

What a wonderful holiday romance.

Small-town vibes, two really great guys, a little hurt comfort, an age gap, and a lot of tenderness.

Aaron - a young man who’s known struggles more than he’s known safety and comfort and home.

Daniel - an older wealthy man with a heart of gold and deep ties with the small-town, but with the sting of lost love weighing on his heart.

The tentative friendship, turned fling, turned so much more is sweet and patient. I love how important they become to each other so quickly and the healing they each help with. But equally beautiful was the town's role in their story.

The common element to the series - The Hook’s Book Nook - is fun, though a small part - the two women who run it are wonderful, I would love a series about them and their travels.
