Dear Enemy by Kristen Callihan

4.0

Saw a quote that says the second 50% of the book reads faster than the first half. Quite true in this case.

It starts off with Deliah having to fix another one of her sister's screw ups. Only this time she is face to face with her sister's ex boyfriend who made her life a living hell growing up. Malcom has made it in Hollywood and cons her to being his chef and assistant while recovering from a horrible accident as a way to pay off her sister's current wrongdoing.

Once the story gets set up, it is a fast read. Loved reading how Deliah is a chef and the passion she has for it. Enjoyed watching Malcom make amends for the torment he caused during their teenage years.

The ending of where is the sister, was quickly wrapped up and where she was turn out to be lackluster. It was refreshing to see Deliah stand up to her sister after many years of her belittling her and it was nice to see Malcom and her make peace with the past and make a plan for the future.
