warning: this book is written in first person
wasnt vibing with this book in the beginning, but i started to fall in love with the characters and get really invested in some of the plot threads.
no spoiler spoiler: the parents going back on all their stances at the end felt like it came a bit out of nowhere, but people do do that sometimes.
the characters feel like real people, and the pacing feels almost like it could be a biography/diary of real events.
