I listened to this audiobook ages ago on a whim and enjoyed it, but frankly I wasn't engaged enough to follow through on the series - I embarked on a reread for the sake of remembering enough to read the next book only to find that it just wasn't for me. It's written well enough but the tropes and overall vibes aren't my personal taste.
