This installment was the weakest in the series so far for me. I did not care for Nona as an MC, her type of innocent, naive, "I love everyone" character is just not for me. I also spent most of this book extremely confused, which I know is a weird complaint when this series is famously confusing, I just think that there's good confused and bad confused and this veered towards the latter.
I also missed my blorbos. Gideon & Harrow I love you <333
However, I did like finding out more about John's past and how the world got to where it is now in the series, and I think I have a crush on Pyrrha. I also love the rest of the cast of weirdos, and having a dog in a book is always a big bonus.
