I'm gonna need absolutely everyone to read this book and report back on what they're doing to support, build, and expand social infrastructure systems in their own communities, because holy cow, 5/5 stars for this game changer of a book. I'm quite seriously considering sending it to my representatives offices with an passionate letter of recommendation and I've been talking to literally every person I encounter about how eye opening it was. I particularly recommend this for those in the architecture/design world, people interested in public policy and community development, and anyone who believes in public institutions (especially libraries). A must read.
