I’m so conflicted on rating this book. It’s unsettling, confusing, and pushes you forward with its mystery and thriller-atmosphere, but the absolutely nonsensical and abrupt ending drive this book lower on the rating for me. I just wanted more answers, and was left with more questions, but this is also a MAJOR theme within the book, making this an almost genius ending. Despite this, it left a bitter taste in my mouth, and gets 3.25 stars from me.
Props to the creativity of the author however, as this was definitely unlike anything I’ve read recently in this genre.
