I was a bit disappointed with this book, especially since I thoroughly enjoyed the previous book in the series. While I appreciated the family drama which felt like reading a soap opera I struggled with the plot's pacing, particularly towards the end.

My main issue was the way the couple's relationship was handled. Their breakup occurs with less than 100 pages remaining in the book, and their subsequent reconciliation felt rushed and somewhat contrived. I found this abrupt resolution diminished the emotional depth of their story.

Despite my criticisms, the book still offered an entertaining reading experience. It was a cute and fun story, though it ultimately lacked the depth I was hoping for.Fans of light, dramatic romance novels might still find this an enjoyable read.
