I sobbed - very ugly sobbing - several times while reading this book.
Jason Reynolds has this genius way of writing tragedy in a way that makes it sound like something beautiful, and this book was no exception. I felt like I was there. I felt those emotions and the pain and the confusion. I understood the characters in a way I haven't understood a character in so long. And while this book was an emotional ride to take, I appreciate everything about it.
