A lyrical folktale of family, perseverance, and the importance of stories. It’s tragic and bittersweet, and at times, overly flowery, but I really enjoyed my time with the Yaga siblings and Thistlefoot. I’m excited to see what Nethercott will write in the future, but I’m really excited to read her short story collection in the meantime!
