The Glow Up by A.M. Johnson
5.0
This was one sweet and very sexy book. It didn’t have the usual wild energy of a lot of university-aged stories, which I loved. It was warm-hearted, and tender, though they definitely had the libidos of a couple of young guys!
I loved how understanding and patient Chris was for Aiden. Giving him the gift of seeing what loving life could actually look like while he struggles with the path he feels he needs to take. Even if it doesn’t make him happy. Guiding him to moments of fun and letting go. From the very beginning, they felt steady, even when there was upheaval there was a sureness to them, and I was here for every minute of it.
I also enjoyed the side characters, particularly Drew and Tommy. They were funny and uninhibited and provided a delightful juxtaposition to the main characters.
I love everything AM Johnson writes, and The Glow Up is no different. 4.5 Stars
