Honeybear Halloween by Jacqueline Sweet
4.0
This book contains two short stories and is a fast, enjoyable read.
Midnight Feast was the first story - showing Alison's attempted Halloween party, where a special ingredient from the Raven Queen's garden turns the festivities heated. In order to save the day, Sebastian - the son of the alpha who has never been able to shift - would have to serve as a virgin sacrifice to the Queen. I really enjoyed this story and the relationships between the characters.
Ghost Boinkers was the second story - involving a ghost determined to kill Chloe as she tries to drive to a Halloween party. The relationship between Chloe and Donovan was a little contrived (think: we must have sex to save ourselves from the ghost hellbent on misery. She'll explode if we're joyful and excited). Although it was intended to be a short story, the ending still seemed a bit too abrupt.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
