To be completely honest, I was a little disappointed by this book. As I had enjoyed the suspense and twists of the previous book so much, this was a bit of a let-down. There just wasn't as much suspense, and I didn't really think Mollie's abilities were that realistic, taking me out of the story a bit whenver she came up. Also, the twists were honestly just meh. One of them I saw coming from miles away, the other simply didn't feel like it mattered that much. Lastly, the writing just felt really simple, but that may just be because prior to this I finished an epic fantasy with complex writing.
Anyway, I will very likely pick up the next book in the series regardless, as I am enjoying the general ideas of this series, and I'm hoping the next book will be on the same level as the first.
