Okay, now I know why everyone's been raving about this and I'm happy to finally join the fan club! What an incredible "little" story, an absolute gem of a novella!!!

The plot, the characterizations, the magic system ... simply phenomenal what Sanderson was able to put into these few chapters - and a satisfying conclusion to boot! Shai has definitely become a new favorite character and I can only hope that we will see more from her in the future.
