I went into this expecting a romantic comedy, and it’s actually pretty dark (at least in the first 50 pages). The author also gets a bit too descriptive in her writing, which made my eyes glaze over a bit. 

This one just didn’t hook me enough to want to keep reading 🤷🏼‍♀️
