What a story! It has been a while where I've read such strong writing and pacing. Legendborn is a high fantasy read with the concept of King Arthur and his knights passing on their powers through their bloodlines to protect the onceborns from the demons.

It was an unexpected adventurous story with our very strong main character who is as well developed as the writing. Our brave Bree is an explosion of emotion and what a character she is in all the right ways. Smart, stubborn and figuring out who she is, I would change nothing about her. The chemistry she has between Nick and Sel is excellent and I want more of it. So, so good!

The endless plot twist dragged me in further. There is so much diversity included in this read as well that it was refreshing. I loved everything about this book, it was emotional, funny, blood boiling at time kind of read. Perfect to pick me up from a reading slump.

I will recommend everyone to give this a read! You will not he disappointed.
