I walk away from this one not really knowing how to rate it. I loved the illustrations, the science lessons, and anything that referenced Pacific Northwest life. As for the travel stories themselves, I wasn't too invested. The daily journaling style was I'm sure very vivid for the author, but as a reader it didn't really paint a picture of how harrowing the journey was.
