This final book in the trilogy wasn't as loved by me as the first, but it retained some of the aspects that had me hooked from the first book. One of my favourite things about this series is the relationships and interactions between the main characters; the funny and weird and sad ways that they treat one another is so totally my jam. I feel, like many readers i think, a little bittersweet about how the series ended and of course I am
GUTTED by the death of Nico.
Overall I found this to be a bit of a bleak end to the series but I don't think that made it /bad/, and I did read thr author's note at the end and understand the sentiment behind the trajectory of the series.
