I saw a lot of 3 star reviews for this before I went into it, and all those reviews are right. I liked the sports element, and the main character was a huge dork which I appreciated, and her friends were fun too, but good God was the actual romance SO underdeveloped. Christine had zero personality, and the author spent no time actually developing the romance before they went from hating each other to dating.

The pacing is really off. The only time I was interested in the story was when Keeley was doing stuff with her friends; as soon as she was interacting with Christine I was extremely bored. The story either needed to be longer with a bigger focus on the relationship, or shorter with less focus on Keeley's life outside of the relationship.

The audiobook narrator also talks REALLY slow. I usually listen to things on 1.25 speed but I had to jack this one up to 1.5
