4.5 but more on the side of 5 than 4! This one was pretty confusing in the beginning but once I got past the first few chapters I started to really enjoy it! I liked the fantasy aspect of this and the story line. I loved reading about royals as well as peasants. Francis was obviously my favorite (as the lead male character always is lol) he was sweet and charming and I just have such a soft spot for him. I didn’t hate Mary (which is unusual for me as I always hate the female lead lol) she was strong willed and didn’t put up with anyone’s shit. I did kinda guess the ending but I still really loved this one!
