Making It Fit by Luke Jameson, Ian O. Lewis
lighthearted
medium-paced
2.5
This book, like my review, appears to be nearly identical to another book I’ve read recently, not only in general premise but with scene-for-scene plot and wording.
I’m not sure who plagiarized whom, but that ain’t it, chief.
That being said, I read this one first and it is longer, and therefore I have more thoughts on it. I wasn’t crazy about the style/editing. One of my favorite tropes is the “falling for my best friend’s sibling” one, so I was very much onboard in the beginning. But I never developed any sort of emotional connection to the characters, and it seems really aggressive language during sex is not my kink, so overall it fell flat for me.
