‘"in this life and the next, for however long our souls remain, mine will always find yours.” i. am. speechless. i want to cry i love this book so much but also i'm SO MAD AT IT AT THE SAME TIME. this simultaneously made my day better and worse. what can i say this book is fabulous. i mean, it destroyed me and it's definitely all i'm going to be thinking about for the next month, but still, fabulous. the writing is literally STUNNING, i tabbed and annotated so much. the relationships are to die for (wow the irony of that statement...) and i love romajuliette and benediktmarshall with all my heart. i'm also like how the author incorporated all the necessary components for this book to be considered a romeo and juliet retelling, but she also took her own liberties in changing some things while staying true to the original story. i would definitely recommend this series if you like YA fantasy and you're looking for something sort of intense and emotional.
