At first I wasn't sure I liked this book. The pictures were bright, fun, and pretty inclusive but the text was pretty simple. Then I reached the last few pages. These pages explained the simple lines and did a great job. There are also pages on how to talk to your child about gender identity and sexuality. This Day in June was well worth the read, lots of engaging pictures, some information and resources for more help.
