I READ THIS BOOK SO FAST!
This is everything I wanted a romance book to be!
Adorable, adventurous, genuinely loveable and realistic characters. A very sweet and heartwarming romance.
It is so much fun.
Should you read the cosmere before this book? You don't have to, but it certainly might help, especially in regards to Hoi'd narration of the book. Of course, if you are familiar with the cosmere, you will understand the easter eggs and jokes. But it won't take away from the book or the plot itself.
Just because a plot is simple does not mean the book isn't amazing. The world-building, as per usual, was so in-depth. I LOVE learning about the spores and how ships and sailing work on the spore seas. Incredibly unique and fun and it gives the world a very fantastical element that I seldom see in most fantasy books these days.
It is so good guys. Please read it.
