I’ve been on a regency romance kick and was very excited to read this one. I was not disappointed. I’m learning that regency romances are truly magical if done right, and this one was just that – magical. The world building was so well done that I felt transported to the time with the characters. The characters were also well done and very realistic, or what I imagine would be realistic. They felt relatable at least which is always a nice plus. This one is set during the holiday season, which also added to the magic of the story. This book was so life like, that I found myself reaching for holiday treats as I was reading.
