This is a series of essays about where Russia is out and the reclaiming of a totalitarian regime in the form of Putin. The book does an exceptional job of revealing the "scorch the earth" pysche of modern Russian and the vengeance fueled desire for glory and world prominence. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to understand the philosophical underpinnings of Putin, as well as the opposition and alternative (in the form of the author).
