Short historical fiction set in Shetland during the 1840s.
This is a quiet and reflective story about loneliness, companionship, religion, and finding oneself!

A bit of homoerotic undertones, I’m rooting for them to kiss and fall in love

Also a story of language barriers and wishing you could communicate to someone in their native language, which I can relate to. I can’t say much about the book without spoiling it. I will say I loved the characters, atmospheric setting, and the story behind the book! An absolute gem that provided a heartwarming tale 🤍
