I loved this book the first time I read it. I’m surprised I didn’t add it to Goodreads last year when I read it the first time.

High school romance is catnip for me and these two are just awesome. He’s the brooding bad boy with tattoos that gets in fights to cover up the fact that he’s been through way too much for an 18 year old. And she’s basically on the run from her horrible mother and step father and is being cared for by our bad boy’s adoptive parents.

They literally run into each other and because he doesn’t like to be touched, he’s a complete jerk. But he loves her almost instantly and protects her and it’s beautiful seeing these two figure it out.
