The Last Honest Woman by Nora Roberts

O'Hurley born

Abby O'Hurley was married young to a famous race car driver who died in an accident. Dylan is an investigative reporter who is researching her to write a story on her dead husband. She is now living in the country (in a house her hubby left her, mysteriously) and raising her 2 sons alone. Very unpretentious and not at all what the cynical Dylan expected her to be. Their relationship is at first rocky, but they both begin to soften to one another and eventually fall in love. I loved how Dylan developed a relationship with her boys and how he learned to loosen up with Abby.
