Dear Presti: the Prince's Pen Pal by Karrie Roman

4.0

I would like to thank GRR for the opportunity to read and review this ARC.

Ahhhhh this was so cute and dorky and I could not stop giggling! Presti was so adorable and i loved how he was super protective of James and loved on him so hard. His family and friends were the snuggliest and the epitome of a warm hug. And James was just a boy trying to be a prince while being wrecked by cupid's arrow through the heart ie Presti's Prestidigitation-ness. I felt for James because Presti was magic and i understood why he was so conflicted and scared, being a royal for the people while navigating being in love for himself. I mean, what IS he allowed to have when his whole life has been primed for others? I ached for him.

But I needn't have worried because Presti was perfect for him, and his compassion and fierce protectiveness for the prince of his heart was a beautiful thing to read.

This was a darling of a romance and i really enjoyed the vibe. The narrative tone was delightful, the characters were all unique and had brilliant chemistry and overall Dear Presti: The Prince's Penpal had a lot of quirky heart and was lovable at its core!

This is my 2nd Karrie Roman and i'm definitely a fan of what i've read so far! i can't wait to read more from Roman in the future because this was just such an adorable romance and the absolute loveliest read to round off the end of 2024!
