Did I finish this book or did it finish me...
I truly don't know how to describe Heartsong. It's the third and penultimate book in the Green Creek series and it follows Robbie's story, that's the only thing that you should know going into the book and that's the only way I can describe this book without spoilers.
Before reading I had heard that this was the darkest book in the series and that it was going to break your heart into little pieces, so, in a way, I was prepared, but I didn't expect this book to make me cry 20% into it. This novel surprised me and made me emotional in every turn of the page, I loved it so much.
Also, one other thing that made this book so amazing is that we have an asexual love-interest (and it's own-voices ace rep).
I'm so excited to read Brothersong, it's now my most anticipated read for the rest of the year.
