A Love Song for Ricki Wilde by Tia Williams

"I was a fool, thinking that I was born to do anything grander than loving her."
Beautiful. Enchanting. Breathtakingly magical.
Was the ending a little predictable? Yes. But I loved that epilogue and I loved how this book gave me the same feel as Addie la rue and Seven year slip. Turns out I am really into magical realism (not shocking because I do believe in God and magic and fate).
It's a pity it took me so long to pick this up, but I know the right book finds us at the right time.
I'm so glad I waited and read this as my own physical copy so I could annotate it. I almost wish I could erase it from my memory just so I can reread it and experience it again for the first time.
Wow. Just wow!
I hope we get Tuesday's story soon.
