This is a new-to-me author duo, bought to my attention from a friend on Insta. It's a quick read if anyone is looking for one. The phrase 'you don't know what you've got till it's gone' fully encapsulates this story. We start off with Ryan at his wits end, he is meant to be enjoying his art show, but his boyfriend is nowhere to be seen. This is the final straw and Ryan walks away. This seems to be the push that Drew needed to get his work/life balance back. For so long Ryan felt Drew was taking him for granted. Drew starts fighting for what belongs to him; his pretty boy. The fight back was brilliant, the reader is privy to all the details, so we can sniff out the stirer amongst them, but these two aren't to know this. This story works so well because of the dual pov, it shows how they both often interpreted different situations. I loved how Drew got Ryan back and how Ryan learned to trust again. A really lovely epilogue that is the start of their happy ever after.
