What a stunning book. Chilling, insightful, and important. Donoghue creates such a vivid world and set of emotionally complex characters. This book makes me question what it really means to be human and being in and of the world. I feel as though Jack and Ma’s story are now permanently etched into my mind and heart. Emma Donoghue is a true talent.
