In this book we have a therapist trying to help a patient who is really suffering from tragedy he has experienced. He is in a downward trajectory and needs help. Kieran goes to see Talia for help. Talia is an unconventional therapist and she recognizes him from her childhood where the two of them interacted and she believes he saved her and she would like to do the same. This book is very angsty which is totally my favorite thing in reading a book. Tug my heartstrings, make me cry, let me feel the torture the longing and the pain and I’m all in. This book does all that and more. This is my first book by this author and it certainly won’t be my last. The attraction and feelings these characters have feel each other are explosive and leap off the pages. This was a truly emotional but enjoyable read.
