DNF at 40%. I don't really know why I wasn't enjoying reading this book. It had all the aspects in a romance/historical fiction that I enjoy but I wasn't connecting with the characters and especially the writing. I found the main character to be slighly frustrating to read and the writing itself felt slightly juvenile. I just couldn't connect with it which I am really sad about - hopefully, when I pick it up again in the near future, I will have a better experience.
