Skeleton Crew by Stephen King

4.0

A good mix of stuff. His Lovecraftian elements are more pronounced here, especially in Gramma, a part of the Cthulu mythos. There’s a recurring theme of madness in many of the stories, as well as one of survivorship, especially in The Raft, the Survivor Type (a particularly gruesome short), and Beachworld. The Mist is certainly the headliner, feeling like a classic Stephen King short in just under 200 pages. My particular favorite is probably the Jaunt, which is a nice foray into science-fiction.
