Kate has really written something special. She’s found words to describe a whole set of emotions we all feel deeply but struggle to articulate. How do we wrestle with the modern experience of failure? Of nostalgia? Of transient communities? Of feeling stuck? I felt a little less alienated and isolated at the end of this beautifully written collection.
