The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman

5.0

i only read two books of neil gaiman by now but they always made me tear up. i never had a story so lethargic as this, it gave me a lot of insights about life, about how life is literally lived in a graveyard. for we, humans, are all lonely souls, trapped together with only a headstone identifying our names but without our identity. my heart breaks for bod, for the life he could have with scarlett and the life he will be having without her and his parents and the graveyard he calls home. i hope he will experience life, hold it in his hands and i hope he will have everything he want. nice meeting you nobody owens, i hope you will find yourself as somebody someday.
