This fourth installment in the Buttercup Hill Series is a light, fluffy second chance, accidental pregnancy, sports romance. If you’re in need of a nice quick escape, this is the book for you.
Our multitasking, type A heroine Trix runs into the college sweetheart who broke her heart 10 years earlier, and is now reluctant to have anything more than a ‘one and done’ night of closure with the now famous hockey star. Ren looks to change her mind. Unbeknownst to them, that one and done has turned complicated with a surprise pregnancy and they will now be linked together forever. Can Trix get past her insecurities from the past and can Ren prove to her that things aren’t what they used to be?
The chemistry was good and the spice and drama weren’t overdone. I liked seeing the family dynamic and the ending made me want to read the next book right away.
