A queer adult romance featuring a Filipino-American main character, All the Right Notes by Dominic Lim is a perfect read if you want a novel that celebrates the beauty of friendship and second chances.

I have no expectations when I pciked this book up but I can say that this book definitely delivered the goods in the swoons department. We have a lifelong love story between high school friends Quito Cruz and Emmett Aoki and you'll follow how they went as choir friends in high school to not talking for decades only to realize that what's for you will come around at the right time.

Set in an alternating timeline between then and now, you'll see the story on how Quito and Emmett became the best choir buddies. Bonus to their story is the presence of Mr. Cruz, Quito's father and their high school choir director.

Expect a lot of music in this one and I'm excited to listen to an audiobook of this soon.
