Prince Caspian by C.S. Lewis
4.0
I enjoyed ‘Prince Caspian’ much more than the previous book. The story captivates with a fascinating world and profound themes such as faith, courage and responsibility. Aslan as a symbol of hope and leadership continues to be particularly powerful.
Nevertheless, there are some weak points: The tension lets up in some parts, and Prince Caspian seems less in depth than in the film version. There he was shown as a more dynamic character who works more closely with the Pevensies. And of course I have to admit: Ben Barnes as Caspian was my childhood crush!
Overall, though, the book is still a good read in the Chronicles of Narnia.
4/5 ⭐
