This book was brilliant. Took me right out of a reading slump. It truly is the start to a great series.
I was so invested in the characters and so involved in the world that finding out all these small things about how certain things worked had me solicited the entire time.
My only issue is that at some points I felt like the plot was slow and there were sections about certain characters that I just was not keen on at all. But that didn't greatly change my overall enjoyment of the book, I still would 100% recommend.
