Oh. My. Goodness! At the end this book had my heart pounding so fast! I couldn't read the words from the pages fast enough, my eyes begged to skip ahead to find out if just seconds earlier what was going to happen with this wild world. (Of course I didn't actually heed their plea and instead I savored every moment of Divine Rivals.)
I would have given it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ but I felt like it took a while for the story to actually start. I appreciate the in-depth beginning now that I finished the book but it was a bit difficult to get into at first. Second I feel like I was more upset and gut wrenched than Iris was at her losing Kitt. You can tell she's sad but she just didn't seem sad enough. Maybe I'm just mad at her because she chose her brother and broke her promise multiple times to stay with Kitt.
