Up until the 80% mark this was pretty much exactly what I needed to get out of my reading slump: A silly, over the top, adorable friends to lovers story with two utterly in love, but also painfully oblivious main characters.

Unfortunately, what came after the 80% mark knocked down my rating by a few points. If there's one thing I really don't like in romances, it's unnecessary conflict based entirely on miscommunication.

To be honest, I'm not sure if I'm glad it was resolved so quickly or it that annoys me even more, since it made the whole conflict feel even more ridiculous.

Anyway, all in all, I'm still glad I read this because if I just ignore those couple of chapters towards the end, it's still a very sweet story that entertained me greatly.
