I simply didn’t care about the story or the characters. I was initially really intrigued by the synopsis, but my interest vanished fairly quickly. 

With that being said, there is nothing intrinsically wrong or bad about this book. I just couldn’t be bothered to keep reading a book I wasn’t interested in.
