I got an ARC of this book at bookcon. I did not know much about this book when I went into it and it was amazing. The world is so different and the concept was so interesting. When you reach the age of 15, bracelets are put on you and they track every form of communication. Each word or movement cost because everything is copyright and trademarked. Speth watches her best friend die, but everyone wants her to read her speech and not pay attention to the death. In that moment, she decides to stay silent and not live by the rules of the government.
The story is about your rights as a person and I think this is a story that is very relevant today and something everyone needs to read. I am giving this book 4.5 stars.
