Seeing Stars by J. Sterling
3.0
I'm trying to think of something to say about this book but there's not really too much to say.
The book is only 224 pages and it suffers for it. We go from one pivotal moment to the next without stopping to flesh out our characters or their surroundings. The two major side characters are Madison's BFF (who gets about three scenes), Madison's Boss (who is in two scenes) and a small handful of other characters who have minimal lines of dialogue here or there. The shortness of the story also makes the tropes stark and cliche - I liked what their story was, but it needed more depth and feeling.
Also - in writing this I just realized that Walker doesn't get his own POV. I tend not to like romances with only one POV.
