I can’t believe what I just read. A novel based on a podcast that eventually becomes a Netflix documentary told from two main character POV’s with the podcast recordings and bits from the Netflix documentary interspersed. Even though I didn’t particularly like Alix, one of the main characters, and I was pretty sure Josie was lying or exaggerating about most everything I was hooked from the beginning by the premise of the book and by the little tidbits from the Netflix documentary. A most unusual presentation but it worked beautifully.
