The Girl & the Galdurian by Tim Probert
4.25
I bought this as a gift for my niece, but after looking through it, I realized the reading level was a couple of years too old for her. I put it on the shelf to save for another birthday.
But after a week, I thought, hey, if I'm going to be holding onto The Girl & the Galdurian for a few years anyway, I might as well read it first so I can be sure I recommend it.
So I read it. And now I'm not sure if I want to give it away, because I really truly loved this.
Delightful characterization. Delightful art. A well-designed world that feels much larger than the story—what an imaginative, lovely achievement.
